We offer refurbished V27 and V29 wind turbines and offer to source these on request. Second-hand Vestas wind turbines are difficult to source in the market place and command a premium prices compared to anything else in the 250kw class. Normally if any are offered for sale on the open market it is only a matter of days before they are sold with payment in full even before they are dismantled. We normally try to source V27s from inland sites like Germany. Again this will limit choice but the condition is usually much better than the costal sites. Refurbishment is carried out in Denmark by a company with over twenty years’ experience and giving a one year warranty. Most of the towers in mainland Europe are single piece making it difficult and expensive to move around.
